A deposit of $500 is required at the time of your enrollment. This is not an additional fee but will apply against the balance of your tuition. The deposit is nonrefundable 72 hours after you have submitted it. If the program does not hit the minimum pre-established enrollment, we will refund the deposit.
If you pay in full at the time of enrollment there is no additional deposit.
For students applying for financial aid, the deposit is 100% refundable if we are unable to come to an agreement with your family on financial aid. If on the other hand the aid package is finalized, the deposit is non-refundable.
Fees for credit card payments will not be refunded.
Early Withdrawal Refund
Following enrollment, a participant’s withdrawal from the program for any reason, including, but not limited to, illness, injury, family engagements, work-related issues, or geopolitical concerns, etc., will be deemed a cancellation. Please understand that there will be no exceptions to our cancellation policy. Per person cancellation fees are based on date of written notice to WTT. WTT will refund on the following basis:
Cancellations within 72 hours of enrollment: Full Refund
Cancellations 72 hours after enrollment to 121 days prior to departure: 100% refund of program tuition, minus the $500 deposit.
Cancellations between 120 days and 91 days prior to departure: 75% refund of program tuition, minus the $500 deposit.
Cancellations between 90 days and 61 days prior to departure: 50% refund of program tuition, minus the $500 deposit.
Cancellations 60 days prior to departure or less: No refund. Travelers are given flight credit if allowed by airline.
Cancellation by WTT: Full Refund or Credit for future travel
Final tuition payment is due 90 days prior to program departure. If you enroll within 90 days of your program, 100% of tuition is due at the time of enrollment.
If the participant has scheduled their own airfare and if the flight is delayed or if for any reason the participant is prevented from joining the program on the scheduled departure date and time, or if the participant chooses to leave the program early, we will not provide a full or partial refund or credit toward a future program.
We reserve the right to cancel any program due to low enrollment or when a U.S. Department of State Travel Warning is issued for the destination.
Any participant who returns from a program before the scheduled return date forfeits the tuition and must cover all expenses associated with an early return.
Applications received after the registration deadline, for both Custom and Open Enrollment Programs, may be subject to additional tuition fees for airfare, hotel, transportation, administration and other expense increases.
10% Legacy Discount: Legacy Discount applies to any sibling of an alumni (or enrolled student participant).
15% Alumni Discount: Alumni Discount applies to any student participant (alumni) returning for a second program.
30% Junior Leader Discount: Junior Leader Discount applies to anyone that is accepted into the Junior Leader program. Priority is given to returning alumni students.
Discounts cannot be combined with sales or marketing promotions.
If you receive a promotion code for a tuition discount or other promotion, you must include this promotion code in your enrollment form at the time of enrollment in order to be given the promotional discount associated with the code. You will be given the option to do this on the final page of your enrollment form before you arrive at the payment page.*
*Promotion codes are often invalid after a certain date. You must enroll and include the promotion code before the deadline in order to receive the promotional discount.
Note: Promotion Codes cannot be combined with legacy or alumni discounts. You will be granted whichever amounts to the greater discount off of your tuition.
