Here you will learn about creative solutions to modern day environmental issues and research some “out of the box” environmental organizations of their own.
How You Do It
- Watch the video 5 Incredible Eco-Friendly Innovations to Save the Earth.
- After learning about the 5 “out of the box” businesses, fill out the Out-of-the-Box Worksheet. This will help you discover companies and organizations that are already doing creative and innovative things to address an environmental problems you're personally concerned about.
Take Away Points
- There are countless “Out-of-the-Box” organizations and businesses out there.
- This is a great introduction into the idea of a Circular Economy (which will be further addressed in a later activity). These companies show us that businesses can help the environment and simultaneously make or save money in the process.
