Welcome to the United Kingdom! Comprised of four separate nations under one flag and home to nearly 70 million people, the UK boasts world-class cities and stunning country-side. Spanning two millennia of history and with a Royal Family known the world over, the kingdom has loads to offer a curious traveler. Whether you are walking along the banks of the River Thames in London, admiring rolling Scottish hillsides Scotland, or learning about the Troubles during a visit to Northern Ireland, this kingdom is sure to leave you wanting more.

We do everything possible to abide by itineraries as originally planned, but decades of experience teaches that we must be flexible in our planning. Changes to a trip’s schedule are uncommon, but Walking Tree reserves the right to make adjustments to programming in the best interest of the group.

| June 9 | London | Upon arrival at the airport, our Walking Tree Program Leader will greet us and accompany us to our hotel via private coach in central London, where we will drop off our luggage. From there, we will embark on a guided sightseeing tour, with a special focus on theatre and acting. As we stroll through Soho’s famous theatre district, our expert Blue Badge guide will share fascinating insights into London's vibrant performing arts scene. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious welcome dinner before heading back to rest after a long day of travel. | London Hotel |
| June 10 | London | Our morning begins with a visit to the renowned Tate Modern Art Museum, where we will admire an impressive collection of contemporary and modern masterpieces. For lunch, we will head to Borough Market, one of London’s most famous food markets, to sample a variety of delicious dishes. Following lunch, we will take a guided tour of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and participate in an engaging Shakespearean acting workshop. In the evening, after dinner, we will experience the magic of London's West End with a live musical theatre performance of Les Misérables! | London Hotel |
| June 11 | Stratford Upon Avon | Today, we will take a day trip to Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. We will visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, explore his final resting place, and tour Anne Hathaway’s Cottage. After an early dinner in London, we'll see Much About Ado Nothing at the Globe Theatre. | London Hotel |
| June 12 | London | After breakfast, we will visit the legendary Abbey Road to walk in the footsteps of the Beatles.From here we will make our way to two of London's most famous museums, the National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery, where we'll have the chance to view some of the world's most famous paintings. In the afternoon, we will join a guided street art tour through Brick Lane to discover famous works, including those by Banksy, as well as hidden artistic gems. In the evening, we will soak in the lively atmosphere of Covent Garden, watch talented street performers, and enjoy a showing of The Hunger Games! | London Hotel |
| June 13 | London - Edinbrugh | In the morning, we will transfer to the train station for our journey to Edinburgh. Upon arrival, we will board a bus for a guided sightseeing tour of Scotland’s historic capital, taking in its striking architecture and rich heritage. After dinner, we will experience Edinburgh’s eerie past on a thrilling theatrical ghost tour through the city’s most haunted locations. | Edinburgh Hotel |
| June 14 | Edinburgh | We will begin the day with a visit to the magnificent Edinburgh Castle, where we will learn about Scotland’s royal and military history while enjoying breathtaking views of the city. After lunch, we will explore the famous Royal Mile and visit the National Museum of Scotland, which houses fascinating exhibits spanning science, history, and culture. Accommodations
In order to provide a safe and memorable experience, we follow strict guidelines when choosing group accommodations. Walking Tree partners with hotels and guest houses which are centrally located, locally operated, clean and safe. We inspect each partner hotel to ensure they meet these standards.
Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington
This hotel is located within a 3-minute walk from Kensington High Street and within easy reach from the shops and restaurants of Knightsbridge and Notting Hill. Rooms here feature TVs and in-room safes. All are en-suite and feature coffee and tea making facilities. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The hotel has a restaurant, a cafe, include, a conference centre and a fitness room. Students will be grouped in their rooms according to gender.
Yotel Edinburgh
Located just minutes from Edinburgh’s most important sites, Yotel offers the perfect location for our group to discover the city on foot. All rooms come with central heat and air conditioning, as well as high speed wifi.

In order to give our travelers the best possible price, we break out airfare from the Program Tuition. We will still handle all booking and ticketing via our flight partner who has access to special fares not available to the general public. Once confirmed, you will be invoiced for the flight roughly 75 days prior to travel.
Program Tuition Excludes: Travel insurance, baggage fees, passport/visa fees, laundry, souvenirs, and activities not listed on itinerary.
