It should spark your curiosity and help you begin to develop cultural self-awareness as you reflect on how your perspective may be different from others.<\/p>\n<h3><b>How You Do It<\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Take a look at the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com\/walkingtree.org\/uploads\/2019\/08\/GLA-PRE-Activity-2-2020.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What Do You See? Worksheet by clicking HERE.<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Look at each image, one at a time, and write down what you see in each\u00a0one. Try looking from multiple angles and perspectives. Example: Some may see the dark word \u201cGOOD\u201d first, while others may see the light word \u201cEVIL\u201d first. Some may clearly see a monkey in a tree, while others notice a growling lioness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Our perceptions and interpretations are shaped by our unique life experiences and cultural identity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>This will apply to your experience abroad as you get a glimpse into life in another cultural context.
